Syracuse University has officially launched its new Gaming and Esports Center, a cutting-edge 5,800-square-foot facility inside the Schine Student Center. The space enhances student engagement, supports competitive varsity esports, and strengthens the University’s pioneering esports academic programs, including the first-of-its-kind Esports Communications and Management degree.

The center includes:

  • A competitive varsity esports stage with live-streaming capabilities.
  • 24 high-end PCs, console gaming (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), VR/AR experiences, and racing simulators.
  • A production area for students to gain hands-on experience in live broadcasting.

Syracuse has also partnered with Gen.G to expand esports career pathways, offering study abroad programs and hosting major esports events. Additionally, the University will begin constructing a dedicated esports arena in the Marley Building later this summer.
